Stun and other statuses
Every Monster can now inflict STUNNED on the Hunter, Stun will lock off one of your attacks at random and can be cured with Hofield’s Clearing Kiss skill that she now starts with.
A few other Monster also have Elemental Statuses they can inflict, although there’s only Burning caused by Fire attacks and Soaked caused by Water attacks in the game so far, both can be cured with Items you can buy.
Extra Attacks for Monsters
Every Monster now has an attack in each Catagory, Power Speed and Tech.
They will favor one type depending on their mood but may use the other types about 1/3rd of the time.
The Hunter now has more HP to make up for the fact you’ll get hit more often by these Surprise Attacks!
Damage Variation
Damage is has a slight variation applied to it, attacks can deal as low as 80% of your Attack stat and up to 120% of your Attack.
That’s before the HTH multiplier by the way.
Monster Damage also has variation, they’ll deal less damage when in their Normal state (80% – 100%), more in their enraged state (90% – 110%), and a LOT more during their Special (110% – 130%)!
