VERITAS EXPOSITA follows aspiring journalist Ali Taylor on a three-episode journey (plus a prologue) deep into the world of sex work—one choice at a time.
Inspired by Our Red String (Eva Kiss), Female Agent (Crushstation), and the introspective vibes of Life is Strange, VERITAS EXPOSITA is a text-driven, multi-path narrative with hand-drawn visual elements and a sleek, journalism-themed UI. It blends the depth of interactive fiction with the structure of a visual novel, offering an immersive and emotional experience.
In this prologue episode, Through the Lens, you guide Ali through doubt, entitlement, and moral sacrifice—all for the sake of a weekend trip to her best friend’s rented beach house.
Serving as both a proof-of-concept, and the foundation of a larger narrative, Through the Lens is Ali’s first step into a world she never expected to be a part of.​

What's New in VERITAS EXPOSITA Version - 0.8.6 Hotfix A?
- You can now trim or shave Ali’s pubes before Dave comes over
- This comes with a new bathroom background and shower sound effect
- Added a matching bathtub background if Ali prefers alone time over Dave
- number keys now activate their corresponding choice (and the cellphone now as well)
- Added a Dave break up block
- Added first name customization at the beginning of the game
- Minor tweaks to the intro to make a few things more clear. Delete persistent data to see all tweaks (C:\Users[YOURNAME]\AppData\Roaming\RenPy) – WARNING – this may affect other games
- Tweaks to scene 1 to make it more clear Ali is on the phone with Britney
- Reorganized the logic of the clothes changing system to feel more natural
- Fixed some issues with the left column
- Fixed a missing conditional, and therefore, an inaccessible epilogue block
