I’m literally dropping this and going to bed everyone. I am absolutely nackered. I’m so behind on sleep and I have a LONG day tomorrow so I just wanna lay down and get a proper rest. I was hoping to be fast asleep already but I’ve been waiting for these uploads to finish. I was on the phone to my ISP for over an hour because whilst my download speed is fine, my upload speed is abhorrent as of today. After running whatever diagnostic tests on their end and 3 reboots on my end, the polite lady on the other end of the phone said “it’ll probably fix itself” which is.. interesting? Obviously with these conditions, uploading the uncompressed version of the game isn’t happening but if the lady’s premonition of the upload speed “fixing itself” comes true then I’ll upload it first thing in the morning 🙂

Anyway on the off chance that I’ve completely screwed something in patch 3.2.5 or if there were any issues with the upload (it took over 2 hours because the lady kept rebooting the router, cancelling the uploads lol), I’ve made the 3.2.4 release post below public. If there’s something broken in the 3.2.5 patch then just download the 3.2.4 patch for now but hopefully that’s not the case lol ^_^

Assuming everything is working as intended that will mean that patch 3.2 is officially finished. We ended up at almost 50 new individual + replayable scenes, just shy of 1000 CGs, 83 faces, dozens of custom plugins, 22(!) new pG trademarked soundtracks, new outdoor lighting, layering + particle systems and hand drawn lighting for nearly every indoor map in the entire game. It’s genuinely not even close; 3.2 is by far the biggest patch in Lisa’s 4 years online and likely the biggest patch for a long, long time and it’s done! ^_^

Recollection Room Workaround:
Alright so a bit of mildly annoying news to offset the joy a little; I can no longer safely add anything to the current Recollection Room. This basically means that the current iteration of the Recollection Room is going to have to be completely reworked into individual maps for each sector of the game. So the rooms you see that represent Lisa’s House, The Mod Shop, Hotel Brava, etc will all need to be divided and separated into their own maps at some point. This isn’t really a HUGE job but it’s time consuming busy work that I’ll have to set aside some time to do – I’d say whilst accounting for engine crashes this will probably take around between 10-20 hours to do optimally as there are some changes that need made to the RR generally.
The reason the map is crashing is simply because the map is too big. It houses almost every event in the entire game making this single map file bigger than most RPGM games are as a full product.
I think I might be able to create a simpler workaround that would keep the current aesthetic of the Recollection Room but it will be temporary and still it’ll take a while to do properly so that this issue doesn’t pop up again.
It is a little irksome.. I have had problems with this particular map crashing a lot over the past year and continuing working on a map that has a high probability of crashing is just bad news waiting to happen because all it takes is one bad crash whilst saving for map files to corrupt which has happened to me several times before. Those that have been around for a while will no doubt remember (shoutout to my backup, backup2, backup22 and backup NEW folders btw).

So what about Sharon’s scenes? The bandaid for it is that when interacting with the RR mirror in Lisa’s living room  it’ll have the option to visit Sharon’s content or the full RR. Sorry this is a bit messy but there was no way to do a full Recollection Room revamp in 2 days ^_^
To save any confusion I’ve made the Sharon Recollection Room only accessible once you’ve got to this point in the game. You can’t actually miss Sharon’s content in game because it’s baked into the natural flow once Lisa gets her Pink Street Outfit.
I’ll do my best to sort something for the next patch but I’m gonna be hyper focused on getting patch 3.3 done before Christmas so I might be tight on time there and the RR “fix” isn’t really a major priority.
