The Auferas House is a horror-tinged visual novel with multiple endings. You play a young man who arrives at a secluded house deep in the woods and must survive the night there to secure an inheritance. As the night unfolds, your choices pull you into different romances with the women of the house.​

New Back button and Backspace key: a real undo step back past a choice and the affinity you gained, the item you picked up and the route you opened all roll back with it
New save system: six manual slots plus the autosave, each showing the room, who was speaking and the line you left on, with a thumbnail
New How to play screen: seven lines, on your first game and in the main menu
New readability settings: text size, text box opacity, and a Readable text mode that kills the flicker on corrupted text without killing the horror
Text box no longer runs off the top of the screen on long paragraphs
Faster start: the menu now loads one 0.30 MB image instead of 14 and 9.75 MB
The computer inside the game desktop, file explorer, recycle bin now boots in all three editions
File previews now work in the offline builds, so the whole searching puzzle can be done by double-clicking the game
Deleting her sticks: putting the file back no longer undoes the decision
Keyboard: arrows or WASD to move, 1–9 to choose, hold Ctrl to fast-forward
Settings are remembered between sessions, and the game saves itself at the start of every scene
