A prince walks into a tower. A princess walks out. What happens in between is the most intimate, devastating, and beautiful story you’ve never played.
Aelindra is an adult interactive fiction game built in Twine (SugarCube), set in a medieval fantasy kingdom where succession law demands a female heir. Prince Edrin has no sisters. His mother is dying. House Ashborne is circling the throne like vultures. The only solution is ancient, irreversible, and will cost Edrin everything he knows about his own body.
The Rite of Becoming transforms Edrin into Aelindra biologically, permanently, completely. Or almost completely. The player chooses.
