Dick Dickson is, in his own words, a “victim of circumstances.” Not just his own name, but his entire life stands as proof of it.

After a forced relocation caused by his parents’ divorce, what initially seemed like a fresh start reveals itself as the true reason behind the family breakup: Rose, his mother, had become romantically involved with someone else. Now, Dick must adapt to his new reality, trapped in forced cohabitation with his new family—Owen (his mother’s partner) and Mia (Owen’s daughter).

However, Mia—an attractive girl with obvious “attitude problems” and a rather rebellious nature—clashes head-on with the ever-humble, attentive, well-meaning, respectful, and proper Dick Dickson, a true modern gentleman… triggering an all-out war between the two in which neither of them has the slightest chance of winning.
