What's New in Records from Censura Version - 0.7.1?

Summary

• Streaking missions in the city!
• Complete overhaul of the first city map (others will follow in the next update)
• Two new positions: Mating press & Lotus
• New recording spot outside
• Bug fixes & QoL improvements
• Hotfix 0.7.1 – Fix out of bounds exploit, ghost collider in the gallery, and an NPC stuck in the restroom

New mission: Streaking
After rescuing Alex, you can buy an upgrade at Glenn’s place to unlock the flashing missions.

Those missions are similar to the confidence training you’ve already done at the library, except you’re outside, and the police is actively chasing you!
To help you get away with your crimes, you can now crouch anywhere, which allows you to hide behind small obstacles, or in the shadows. The agents are persistent and they’ll keep chasing you if they see you hide.

Map redesign
That new feature requires a brand new map. The old one was flat, with no place to hide, or any way to make a chase interesting.

This update only changes the residential part of the game (the map with the laundromat and the library). The train station and the canal have not been remade yet, but it’s coming.

And also: Outside recording spots!
For now there’s only one spot outside, but I planned space for more
Small performance upgrades
Performance is an on going effort. There are a lot of things that could be improved, but I can’t fix everything at once. For now:

• Shadows are now less expensive, so don’t hesitate to increase their quality if you had issues with that before.
• The foliage is significantly faster to render and more dense than before.
• Background characters are a bit less CPU intensive than before.
• There’s a new type of background character that basically costs nothing. It’s used in crowds and places where the full resolution is not necessary.
• There’s a new unified material for almost everything in the 3D levels. (only on the new map though). That means, instead of each 3D model having its own material, they all share the same one, and it’s a lot faster to render.

This game however is very CPU intensive, and is not multi-threaded yet. The biggest bottleneck is the procedural animation stuff that’s used on the main characters. I’m working on it in the background, but it will take some time.

Other changes

• The game now remembers when you change clothes during sex
• You can chose between “Hold to walk” and “Toggle to walk” in the input settings.
• You can crouch anywhere by pressing the Control key by default.
• Sleeping on your bed during the day will make the time pass until the night.
• Maximum breast size was increased from 100 to 140.
• Maximum eye size was increased from 100 to 140.
• There are two NPCs in front of the hideout that will give you directions if you’re lost.
• Fast travel menu is a bit less cluttered (maybe)

Bug fixes

• The vagina no longer separates from the body when running around naked.
• Fix genitals sometimes not having the same skin color as the body.
• Fix the missing icon for the spooning position.
• Fix Ruby’s still wearing her body suit when sex starts.
• Fix a bug that sometimes lets you drop your bottom clothes on the floor twice.
• Fix the ponytail clipping through the body.
• Fix some dialogues starting behind another screen.
• Fix a memory leak when the game tries to list all the sex positions available.
• Fix a freeze in the hideout when turning on the light the first time.
