• Factions and Rivals. A new screen lists every known rival organization, showing what your scouts actually found: real numbers when scouting was good, guesses when it wasn’t.
• Raiding is a real operation. Scouting odds up front, loot that depends on the target and your crew, concealed caches of gold and valuables, wreckable bars and gambling halls for salvage, and complications on the road home when the haul gets big.
• One rule for when a rival falls. A rival is eliminated exactly when everything is gone: gold, gangs, brothels, businesses, bars, and gambling halls. Rivals with anything left rebuild through their normal economy.
• The Circuit remembers. In the experimental Arena Circuit, rival stables and fighters persist across seasons. You can talk to them between fixtures, and the offseason opens a signing window where a fighter’s answer depends on how she feels about you.
• Fight reports say who won. Arena headlines are written for the actual result, and fighter traits color a win differently than a loss. City Guard shifts can catch, chase, or lose a thief.
• Whore shifts decide once, at the door. One decision at the start of the shift instead of a re-roll at every customer. A refused shift carries into the next week before fading.
• Talking to workers got a prose pass. A Praise category, a Chambers invitation submenu, rewritten bedroom and dungeon scenes, and scene art that matches the scene.
• Balance and fixes. Recruiting is persuasion now, trait inheritance follows the authored odds, consumables cost real money, and mind control overrides refusals as intended. Plus a round of interface and art fixes from player reports.
