What's New in Somatic Hex Version - April Demo?

This is a free update to the demo that adds the Jungle Mega Arena, it’s a bigger and more dynamic version of the smaller arenas. The following new content has been added, and is all inside the arena:

Bee Lady entity
Multiple weather effects
Multiple player effects
2 Celestial (ultimate) spells
Heart Shield spell
Speed Potion and Brittle Broom items
New outfit pieces: Bunny Ears, Socks, and Pasties (arena rewards)

General

Added skin and hair dyeing to Trade Hub
Reduced stun duration to 2s (from 3.5s) when at 0 HP
Added a new Blessing
- Succumb: sex lasts forever at the expense of losing all your Libido
- Intuition: see how long a tempo can last before changing
- Many more, available as random spawns in the arena (or in shops in the Insider build)
Added some small informational books to the Trade Hub library
Added spell cooldown indicators below player HP bar
Added region titles to minimap
Increased the amount of HP loss needed before clothing layers are affected
Improved the tutorial by adding player ‘ghosts’ that show what to do since some players were struggling with the tutorial
Improved player getting stuck in ceilings, should happen less frequently
Improved and fixed controller support in general
- The game is now tested with a PS5 controller, as well as the previous Xbox and Nintendo
- Player movement shouldn’t stop periodically anymore (caused by the left/right sticks both sending input events)
- Minimap shouldn’t constantly re-center with some controllers anymore
- Input labels switch to controller mode / show correct buttons faster
- Input rebinding shouldn’t immediately close
- Pause Menu multiple option selection buttons should be focusable when expanded now
Super Speed now tries to fall back to normal speed instead of restarting the animation, which happens sometimes
Optimized audio playing
Fixed bug where floating plank lifts would spawn way too many planks and degrade performance
Fixed bug where player couldn’t move until jumping when a climb failed
Fixed bug where Nurse wouldn’t show help options anymore
Fixed bug where you could jump off the map (Stone arena)
Fixed bug where Energy and Libido rates were tied to FPS
Fixed bug where wall-jumping wouldn’t work at higher FPS (120+)
Fixed bug where flower ladies would float when respawned
Fixed bug where the moon rabbit wouldn’t talk
Fixed bug where nurse would remove effects but the effect’s player pose would remain
Fixed bug where spells would reset their timeouts when attempting to use them too early
Fixed bug where frog lady animations wouldn’t start sometimes
Fixed bug where Side Dash sprite would be in the ground if it hits something on the first frame
Fixed bug where Riding Cloud blessing would cause the Spirit Walk blessing to get stuck in the ground
Fixed bug where dialogue would appear over shop and player menus
