What's New in Oh So Hero! Pre Edition II Version - 0.20.200?

New features:

• New NPC: Dyabal!
  • Find this demon frog (auranura) in Dyabal’s Cabin!
• New Environment: Dyabal’s Cabin
  • This is a small area added to the far right side of the Forbidden Bayou.
• New attack for Bates: Fire Pellets
  • This spawns patterns of flaming bullets. Bates starts using this in Phase 3, and adds new patterns in Phases 4 and 5.
• Mastered Soundtrack
  • The game’s music has been updated to the mastered soundtrack.

Improvements & bug fixes:

• Forbidden Bayou modifications:
  • Liath now has a cauldron, an updated hut, and new dialogue.
  • The door to Smol Beach has been moved a bit more to the right.
• Updated Credits.
• And even more fixes that are too trivial to list!

Known issues:

• There are some bugs in the Bates battle (Fire Pellets included) as it’s still in beta.

Ket’s Update:
Hello, everyone! We got a new build for you with a couple new features.
Bates has a new move, Fire Pellets, which spawns patterns of flaming bullets. Bates starts using this in Phase 3, and adds new patterns in Phases 4 and 5. It’s a bit buggy in this build, but I should have the jank ironed out next time, and I’ll try to improve the performance as well. By the way, one of these patterns tests your ability to hang in the air longer by using one of Joe’s abilities. Which move do you think it is?
Bates still has more work to be done. We have one last move to add to Bates (Dive Grab), and even more animations. That will come later.
This build introduces a new NPC, Dyabal, and a new environment for him. Take a look!
This build also has its music updated to the mastered soundtrack. Check your music volume levels!
As stated before, we’ll be doing a major sound effects update, which I hope to complete in the coming months. In a future version, I would also like to add an in-game music player to the Gallery.

Red’s Update:
Hey guys. Hope you’re all doing well. I’m a bit behind due to being sick for a week and a half (fun times). I’d like to give an ETA on the cutscene stuff, but as I’ve come to realize, I’m pretty bad at estimating these animation completion times. I will be sharing more stuff a couple of weeks from now, and by then I should have a much better idea of how much longer Bates cutscenes will take. I’ll see you guys soon assuming i don’t overdose on caffeine~
