What's New in Back Home Version - S2 v0.201.02?

The new episode is a new game, called Back Home, season 2. It starts where you ended season 1, in Elena’s remote Artist’s residence. If you can’t quite remember what happened before, don’t worry. There’s a recap in the game that will tell you. It contains new, better images, based on the events you have witnessed. So it is worth to take a look, but you can skip it if it all sounds too familiar to you

Unzip and install the game on the same computer you’ve played season 1 on. Mac users need to install a patch as well. The patch and info how to install it are included in the download.

After starting season 2, the game will ask you to load the save you made at the end of the last episode, right after the dream sequence. Where it says “please, save your game here”. Warning: you will see other saves as well. If you try to load some other save, that was made before the point I mentioned, you will get an exception. Don’t try this, it’s annoying.

If you don’t have the save, or can’t find it, there’s no problem. I have included several presets you can start with by answering a couple of questions. In that case, some of the unique choices you’ve made before may be lost, of course. And they may influence the game. Some players, especially on Mac, may get a warning that a save is loaded that was made on another computer. There’s no worry, that computer was mine. So please ignore it.

Season 2, episode 1 is the beginning of several story lines that will ultimately lead to several endings. There’s a substantial part included of one of these story lines (the one featuring Robbie). The other story lines will follow later. I think it would be a good idea to save your game at strategic points, to be able to play the others when they come available. Please pay attention whenever you see a light bulb appear in the top right corner. By clicking on it, you will get hints.
