Pure Onyx is a classic beat ‘em up with RPG elements set in the world of our flagship title, Malise and the Machine. It follows heroine Onyx as she brawls her way through the dystopian streets of New Babylon, where she’ll encounter gangs, crime syndicates, a corrupt police force, and the bio-engineered horrors of the insidious Babel Corporation. It features fully animated, 3D art and is styled after 80s cyberpunk anime. Pure Onyx contains in-game, fully animated H content.​

Walkthrough and Guide
SoundCloudConsole Commands:
The game isn't balanced that great yet, so some people have asked if there are ways to bypass bosses or get some help. You can use console commands for this while the game is still rough around the edges. Press the ` (backtick/tilde) key to open the console. Type any of the commands below and press enter. Press ` again to close the console.
- godmode on/off - Makes Onyx indestructible.
- onepunchmode on/off - Gives Onyx the ability to kill anything with one attack.
- setwave # - Sets the enemy wave to the number specified. Changes will not be reflected in enemies until the current wave is wiped out. If you want to fight Street Lord Wraxe, who spawns on Wave 20, then set the wave to 19 and wipe out the remaining enemies.
- setgamespeed # - Multiplies the game speed by the number specified.

Cheat Table Installation:
Activate the script while the game is run. Then open the in-game 'Options' menu. This has to find the address. Then you just activate the script to unlock.

- Added [Onyx + Helidrone] and [Onyx + 2x Helidrone] H scenes for gameplay and gallery
- Added [Syndicate Girl + Wraxe – Standing] H scene to gallery
- Added the Underground Refinery stage to world map
- Added H move for Helidrone
- Added Spindlemorph Elite enemy
- Added a major upgrade to H scene placement that respects screen / map edges / obstructions based on space required by each specific H scene
- Bystanders should now position themselves outside of H scene bounds instead of clipping with the action
- Updated bystander placement algorithm significantly so that it can find valid placement for bystanders in cramped areas.
- Fixed major issue where first-time players have to pause then unpause game to get past the Help screen
- Added SFX for Tyrantula scene
- Added SFX for Onyx and FemCop + Ghoul H scenes
- Added combat and hit reaction SFX for all attacks and animations to Helidrone and Helidrone Nest, and for bat bunny’s projectile attack.
- Added missing Eyeshine SFX to Male Cop’s H attack
- Enemy attack VFX no longer improperly continue playing when their attacks are interrupted
- Fixed possible soft lock on Red-Light due to enemies spawning in unreachable area behind objects.
- Shooter Drone powerups can now hit destructible objects and Helidrone Nests
- Projectiles and prop objects can now emit SFX / play SFX via animation events
- Crawlers no longer get hung up on barrels/other objects if you knock them down on top of them
- Improved physics so characters don’t pause mid-air before sliding off objects while in air / being knocked down.
- Added Syndicate Girl, FK-Doll, and DK-Doll portraits to loot window
- Onyx is no longer knocked down toward attacks when knocked down by certain projectiles
- Added some miscategorized SFX to the H scene volume mixer group
- Fixed multiple issues with Syndicate Girl’s H-cloud projectile
- Bat Bunny can no longer fire her projectile attack behind her
- High Judge Marduk’s H-projectile will no longer be stopped when hitting enemies or destructible objects
- Projectiles have a new functionality allowing them to be destroyed so they don’t hang out unnecessarily (like Syndicate Girl’s H cloud FX hanging out during the scene)
- Fixed looping sounds for actors not playing in gallery
- Fixed not being able to hit Larva during their Leap recovery
- Fixed Helidrone propeller sound not being controlled by SFX volume
- More water system improvements
- Optimized game build disk size
