Finding Color in the Ashes is a fantasy dating sim where you rebuild an inn and hang out with a witch named Lucy.
It’s a mostly cozy management game where you slowly rebuild a ruined inn, choosing how you spend you time. The day is divided up into mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights – and weekends have their own events as well.
You also need to keep the surrounding area clear of monsters, equipping yourself with weapons and spells and engaging in turn based dice-combat. There are a variety of weapons, armors, and spells to buy, learn, and upgrade.

- New companion: Rina. She will join the inn during the spring.
- 9 Additional portraits for Rina
- Rina can join you for dinner (missing art for evening hangouts, but will be coming soon!)
- Rina afternoon hangouts (art + dialog)
- 12 New Events – 1 Nuncio, 11 Rina(1 with Ailis, 1 with Willow, several with Lucy) – about 300 lines of dialog
- Rina’s skill tree has the first 4 abilities available. All of them improve the Shrine.
- Shrine Trials: Each time you place a god’s statue in the shrine, you’ll have 21 days to complete a trial.
- Each god asks for something different: clear dungeons, fill rooms in the inn, and cast spells.
- Minor blessings: Each time you complete a shrine trial, you’ll gain access to a new minor blessing. These can be freely activated / switched between while a god’s statue is in the shrine.
- There are current 9 minor blessing implemented (3 for each god). Every god will eventually have 6.
- War gods blessings: Start with +1 companion action, Recover action adds 1 stack of offering status, Poison, Bleed, and Disrupted recover faster
- god of the heart blessings: Recover 1 condition every night, +1 to lowest inn resource every night, +3 to wood chopping yield
- Magic god blessings: +1 Attunement Dice, +2 to Spell Casts, +4 to Charged stacks
- New companion screen art for Ailis, Ellie, and Lucy
- Redraw of Eleanor sex scene (doggy)
- New pop-up art in Eleanor’s interactive sex scene
- New Actions in Eleanor’s interactive sex scene
- New pop-up art in Scout’s interactive sex scene
- New sex scene (Rina)
