After your father’s mysterious murder a few months ago, you’re moving to a new city to start college. Your mother arranged for you to live with Sophie, your father’s partner, and your half-sister Emily. As you settle into your new life, you find a wooden box left by your father containing a journal and photos. His final message reveals a shocking truth: he wasn’t just working – he was investigating a network of corruption. Each person he contacted – Sophie, Emily, and others throughout the city – holds a piece of a puzzle. Now it’s up to you to uncover what your father was really investigating and why he was killed.

What's New in A Lot of Ways Version - 0.2.2?
New — the main story moves again
Three new story quests, one each for Sophie, Emily and Rose, with 23 new scenes across them. These aren’t side content: each of the three is holding a different piece of what your father was investigating, and this update is where those pieces line up for the first time.
The love route also gets a proper main story track in the quest panel again. Since free mode unlocked there was nothing tying the route together, now there’s a thread to follow, and it tells you where to go next.
Fixed — the special gift was impossible to identify
The quest diary showed each girl’s favorite gift, which is not the gift that unlocks her final action tier. People were buying plushies over and over and nothing happened.
Each girl’s diary now has a Special Gift box that names the actual item, tells you whether you own it, and shows the Store price if you don’t. It also says plainly that the gift has to be handed over through the Gift option while talking to her, giving it from the Inventory screen does not count.
Fixed — time cost per scene
Repeatable scenes were eating far too much in-game time per step. A position change no longer costs you half an hour.
