The Silence Knows [Ongoing] - Version: 0.42

Pro+ gets an early peek at two new Act 7 morning scenes leading into the Wozniak dinner. Everyone gets random scene BGM + a mini player, name customization in Options, expanded Ellie doctor & sauna branches, updated Act 1 & Act 3 art, clearer act numbering, and a pile of QoL fixes (mute persistence, in-game menu, subtle toasts). Full changelog below.

+ Voice (experimental) — Sophia voiced lines in Act 1 Scene 2 (department store / changing room).
NOTE: v0.42 uses the same password as in v0.41 due to some experimental changes to the game! v0.43 will receive new passwords.

Whats new?
Small new story content
Act 7 preview (Pro+ only) — two new morning scenes that set up the Wozniak dinner:
Soap, Shame, and a Soft Yes — Monica’s morning-after routine with Bobby; he reminds her the Parkers are coming tonight.
Stretch, Sweat, and Seven O’Clock — clinic morning with Amara, Sophia, and Dylan; Dylan reminds Sophia about dinner at the Wozniaks.
Act 6 Scene 3 expanded — Ellie’s doctor visit now has a pay $1,000 route vs. the offer her body route, with new dialogue and beats.
Sauna scene branch — use the medicinal “rock” oil for a hotter continuation, or fall back to watching porn clips on the laptop.
Bobby & Monica side story — now starts after you meet Bobby at the clinic (Act 6), with a clear opt-in so you can follow his story or stay on Dylan’s path.

Story & dialogue
Prologue rework — “New Threads” is now one combined prologue (no separate Dylan intro + Act 1 split).
Act/scene renumbering — gallery, walkthrough, and scene titles updated so numbering matches the story flow.
Act 6 Scene 4 split — the long clinic/hack stretch is broken into smaller, named scenes (easier to follow and replay).
Sophia in Act 1 — her lines shift with her heat meter (more reluctant when cold, more into it when heated up).
Thomas — emotion portrait added for his dialogue.
Customization & options
Character names in Options — change your name (Danny / Dennis / Dylan / custom) and her name (Sylvia / Susan / Sophia / custom) anytime from Options → Characters; saves when you leave the menu.
Relationship editor — still available on Fan / Pro / Pro+ builds (custom labels for Sophia & Ellie).

Audio & music
Random background music — one random track per scene from the new soundtrack folder.
Mini music player (top-right) — skip track, pause/resume, mute BGM.
Mute fix — “Mute all audio” now stays muted between game sessions (reported bug fixed).

Visual & scene polish
Act 1 department store — new/updated stills and video beats where art exists.
Act 3 roadside crash — updated horse-crash sequence with new art and video.
More loops — several old static shots swapped for looping clips across the game.
Subtle unlock toasts — photo/scene unlock and choice feedback popups are smaller and less intrusive.
In-game menu fix — ESC / Save / Options / Help / Walkthrough work again mid-game (left-side navigation restored).

Quality & stability
Faster startup — background music loading no longer scans the whole game on launch.
BGM player fixes — no more random track changes every dialogue click; icons and tooltips cleaned up.
