Shoot monsters and romance them during combat! In Sombionic, you play as a female scientist fighting monsters and genetically engineered humans, harvesting their rare genes and organs for your own inventory. Once pristine habitats are now overrun by genetically enhanced species, their presence transforming these landscapes into biopunk arenas of rivalry.

Romance
- Added a new animation scene featuring Melany and the Tentacle Meatwall.
- Added a new animation scene featuring FBL-Ø. This required a complete set of new facial deformation systems for Melany, including custom mouth, throat and eye animations.
- Added additional struggle animations to improve encounter variety.
Gameplay
- Added the Tentacle Meatwall, a new enemy encounter that can appear throughout the campaign in different forms and sizes.
- Added a new Toxic Plant enemy that releases poisonous gas when players move too close. Additional interactions with this creature are planned for the next update.
- Reworked FBL-Ø AI behavior. The creature now actively hunts players, performs pounce attacks and can trigger struggle encounters.
- Expanded Level 3 with additional objectives, environment, level design improvements and new 3D assets.
Added a new climbing mechanic, including animations and audio. - Introduced the new minigame system to gameplay objectives. Players may now encounter contextual challenges such as breaking free from environmental hazards.
- Changed the crawling animations and increased crawling movement speed.
- Added interaction distance requirements for selected objects, preventing interactions from being triggered at unrealistic ranges.
- Added cinematic object interactions. Certain quest items and mechanisms now trigger dedicated camera sequences when inspected or activated.
Miscellaneous
- Added level streaming controls that dynamically enable and disable sections of the environment to improve performance and occlusion culling.
- Added Lockdown events that seal combat arenas using visual effects and environmental barriers.
- Added post-processing transition effects when entering and exiting dark tunnels and cave systems.
- Added a spline-based construction system to streamline the creation of tubes, pipes, cables and other organic structures.
- Reworked item visibility and layering systems to improve readability and support future equipment additions.
UI
- Added Grab Pressure controls to Gameplay Settings. Increase the value to make enemies more aggressive when attempting to trigger grab encounters.
- Improved the loading screen UI.
- Improved interaction prompts by making item names and input hints easier to read when highlighted.
Fixes
- Adjusted Boss War wave spawning behavior. Enemy waves can now occasionally overlap before the previous wave has been completely eliminated, which brings more varied combat pacing.
- Fixed an issue where equipment attached to character bones could occasionally bind to matching bones from other equipped items, causing incorrect positioning.
- Improved save file reliability by introducing safer save handling, validation checks, and automatic recovery when corrupted data is detected.
- Fixed the available screen resolutions in the settings by replacing them with a smaller, better-selected list.
- Fixed an issue where resolution names could overflow the text box.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the loading screen to become stuck indefinitely.
- Do not post same comment twice, your pending comment will be moderated, approved and replied by a stuff soon.
- Do Not ask for new updates/"when it will release" etc unless it is already released by developers. We do not develop games, use common sense.
