What's New in Lustful Apocalypse Version - 0.8.2.5?
- New lighting, skies and atmosphere in every level, with a golden-hour look for the Wasteland
- Much easier to find your way around the Wasteland: fingerposts, coloured light beacons over portals and quest givers, lanterns along the trails and compass markers
- The camera now moves in when there’s a wall behind Wyn, so it no longer goes through walls or buildings
- The Sewer and Subway cameras stay inside their walls, and trees fade out if the camera ends up in the leaves
- Portals, NPCs and items in the Wasteland moved to more sensible spots
- Coming back through a portal puts you on a trail facing away from it, with about 3 seconds of peace from normal enemies
- Enemies no longer capture Wyn mid-conversation
- Pressing fire during a birth no longer breaks it off, and no longer uses a corruption crystal or “Sleep (Advance Day)” by accident
- The Dark One’s intro now only plays once
- Burny’s Demon seed only appears while his quest is active
- Quest markers updated for the Dark One, Burny, the Demon seed and Horus
- Torches no longer make glowing blobs on shiny floors
- Forest of Ember, War Tide and the Boss Battle have a new look, and the grass is no longer almost black
- The Breeding & Rest Room, Sewer, Subway and Brothel all have new lighting, and Wyn no longer turns into a dark silhouette
- The game is about 536 MB smaller, with the Windows folder now roughly 2.4 GB, down from 3.0 GB
- Shorter pauses after loading screens, and the first NPC conversation no longer hitches
- Off-screen enemies and NPCs pause their animations for better performance
- Low Power Mode now also turns off depth of field, extra screen-space lighting, reflections and lamp and torch shadows
- Fixed an occasional freeze on the loading screen
- Fixed Wyn’s head not showing in the faction joining scene
- Fixed touching a second portal during loading changing where you came back to
- Fixed the Breeding & Rest Room being lit through its roof in Low Power Mode
- Fixed Wyn walking through the platform pillars in the Subway
