What's New in Genesis Proyect Version - 0.3?

We finally have Genesis Project v0.3 fully completed!

To be completely honest, this release faced more delays than I would’ve liked (even though no one is forcing me to develop this… plus, some really weird things have been happening to me lately). However, it has been 100% worth it. Step by step, the main storyline is expanding to introduce new characters and deeper narrative arcs. I used to feel the game lacked interesting lore, but I was finally able to clarify what the name Genesis Project actually means and how it connects to Genesis Corp.

Truthfully, I know this update might not feel massive in terms of sheer content given how long it took… Remaking parts of the game required a solid chunk of time, leaving the rest for new features. Still, I really hope you enjoy this update as much as I enjoyed making it. I’m excited to keep developing and bringing you more and more content down the road.

A few words from ArtoriasRey:

I want to keep improving. I’ve learned some new animation techniques in the software I use, but… it’s still really tough. If it were up to me, I’d rebuild everything from scratch, but I constantly try to fight off that intrusive thought—nothing can ever be 100% perfect (as much as I try to make it so!).
The animations are the most anticipated scenes in the game, and I truly want to make an impact. I’m fully aware that I’m still just a total rookie, and I deeply admire the people out there making incredible stuff way better than mine. I hope that one day I’ll be able to animate like them. For now, I feel like everything I did in this version is a huge step up from the last one… and with every new release, things will only keep getting better. At least, that’s the goal! Thank you all so much for the support.

1. Remake & UI Overhaul:

• New Main Menu and Exit Menu
• Reworked game introduction
• Updated user interfaces
• SideQuests added! (New dedicated button)
• Adjusted Iris’s progression path

2. New Characters & Story Progress:

• Main Story: Includes 4 new progression lines
• Hazel’s Story: Includes 5 progression lines (Welcome to the Restaurant!), featuring 3 animations and 4 camera angles
• Lilith’s Story: (Sadistic Demon) Includes 3 animations and 5 camera angles

3. New Locations:

• 4 New Maps: City, Cemetery, Restaurant, and Beach!
