- Improved the experience of several keyboard shortcuts used to advance dialogue.
- Expanded the text speed slider range from 50–200 to 1–300 characters per second.
- Setting the text speed slider to its maximum now enables instant display.
- Improved the text speed preview in the settings menu.
- Improved the navigation of the Backlog menu by adding separate buttons for small and large jumps.
- Improved controller navigation. Shoulder buttons can now quickly switch pages in the Save/Load, Favorite, and Config menus.
- Improved the appearance of read text, making it easier to distinguish.
- Optimized the built-in screenshot function, significantly reducing stuttering and storage usage.
Performance
- Greatly reduced the black screen transition when loading save files, resulting in much faster load times.
Steam & Platform Support
- Fixed Steam Cloud synchronization across Windows, Linux, SteamOS, and macOS.
- Due to Steam Cloud limitations, existing cloud saves created before this update cannot be synchronized across platforms. Players who need cross-platform saves should back up their local saves, clear their existing Steam Cloud saves, and synchronize again to generate new cross-platform compatible saves.
